A Half-Day Urban Retreat for Deep Rest and Deeper Meditation

Rejuvenation Day

In the busyness of modern life, stress accumulates quietly in the nervous system. Even with a regular meditation practice, the body can carry layers of fatigue that require deeper rest to release.

Rejuvenation Day is a half-day urban retreat designed to restore balance, renew your meditation practice, and reconnect you with a quieter, more settled state of awareness.

Throughout the morning, you will be guided through Rounding, a powerful sequence of practices that allows the body to release deep stress and restore natural energy.

You will leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more deeply anchored in yourself.

What is Rounding?

Rounding is an advanced meditation technique designed to deepen the benefits of your regular meditation practice.

It is a carefully structured sequence that includes:

  • Gentle yoga asana (yoga postures - accessible to all)
  • Pranayama (breathwork)
  • Meditation
  • Deep rest

This sequence allows the nervous system to release deeper layers of accumulated stress and fatigue.

When practised together in this way, the body experiences a profound level of rest. As the physiology settles, the mind naturally becomes quieter, clearer, and more alert.

Many meditators find that Rounding significantly enhances their meditation experience and strengthens the stability of their daily practice.

No prior yoga experience is required. All practices are gentle and accessible.

What the Day Includes

This half-day urban retreat is designed to give you the space to step away from daily responsibilities, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.

The structure of the day is simple and supportive, allowing the body and mind to deeply rest while also gaining practical knowledge that supports your ongoing meditation practice.

FAQ's

FAQ's

Do I need previous yoga experience to attend?
No. The yoga postures practised during Rounding are very gentle and simple. They are designed to support deep rest rather than physical exertion, and no prior yoga experience is required.

Do I need to already know how to meditate?
Yes, the day is designed primarily for those who have already learn meditation with us or practice the technique.
The Rounding process builds on this foundation and is intended to deepen the benefits of your daily meditation. If you are unsure whether this day is suitable for you, please feel welcome to contact us and we would be happy to discuss it with you.

What should I bring with me?
Everything you need for the practices will be provided at the venue but you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing for stretching and resting and bringing a water bottle/thermos.

Can I attend more than once?
Yes. In fact, this is exactly what these days are designed for. Many meditators choose to attend monthly, as it helps refresh and deepen their practice while providing a level of rest that goes beyond daily meditation alone. Regular Rounding days can support greater stability, clarity, and renewal in both practice and daily life.
